About

Photography has taught me that the most meaningful moments are rarely the obvious ones.

They're found in the quiet pauses between destinations, conversations, and everyday life.

Akshit Singh

I'm Akshit Singh, a 28-year-old photographer based between Berlin and Delhi. While I built my career as an engineer, photography slowly became the way I connected with the world around me. Today, it is the medium through which I experience, document and share the places that leave a lasting impression on me.

From the streets of Europe to the mountains of Japan, I've been fortunate to travel across cultures documenting not just places, but the emotions they leave behind. Every destination has its landmarks, but I'm drawn to the moments that exist around them — the glance between strangers, the changing light before sunset and the silence after the crowd has passed.

Photography

My photography is rooted in travel, street and landscape imagery, with a cinematic approach to storytelling. I'm less interested in documenting destinations as they are, and more interested in the emotions they leave behind. Every photograph is an attempt to preserve a feeling that words often cannot.

"The best photographs don't simply show where we were.
They remind us how it felt to be there."
